Toddler dan Nursery Parents Workshop and Conference

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih holds the workshop at the auditorium on Friday, July 20, 2018. Parents are escorted to the auditorium. The principal starts the workshop with prayer.

The principal introduces the vice principal and every homeroom teachers so that parents may know and can meet them if the need arises. The principal also explains the programmes in Kindergarten, the lesson, scoring, rules and instructions in school.

Ms. Prof. Dr. Frieda M. Mangunsong, M.Ed., Psikolog continues the workshop by telling about children’s aggressiveness. This workshop has the intention to tell parents how to handle children’s aggressiveness. The workshop describes the meaning, origin and the forms of aggressiveness, either in physical or verbal form. It is apparent that children’s aggressiveness is the way of them to get what they wish for, to intimidate, to dominate and to express their anger. The workshop also explains about the factors causing the aggressiveness and the methods to handle it.

We realize that we will experience this situation. However, we hope that we can handle this condition earlier, so that children can grow well and live according to God’s will.

The workshop is also continued with the question and answer session by parents. The principal closes the workshop with prayer. We hope that with this activity, we can help parents in teaching and guiding their children. God bless.
