Celebrating the 73rd Independence Day of Indonesia

Celebrating the 73rd Independence Day of Indonesia, Sekolah Pelangi Kasih holds various kinds of competitions and sings local and national anthem song together. This event is followed by students from Nursery until Advanced Secondary level.

It starts with praying and sing the local and national anthem song.

The held competitions are wearing socks, attaching clothes clasps, moving the flag, walking with balloon, putting pencil into bottle, eating chips, playing tug of war, popping the balloon, putting the chopstick into bottle, ball relay race, lasarong, bakiak, blowing the cup, sarong relay race, class yelling, arranging 6 glasses, passing balloon, sucking sukro bean, decorating cone-shaped rice and playing sack race.

This celebration is held so that every children have the patriotic feeling inside them and to remember every heroes who have sacrificed for this country.

This independence reminds us of the great love of God. We hope that Sekolah Pelangi Kasih, as an institution, keeps educating students to live according to God’s will in their lives as the salt and the light of the world.
