Kindergarten 1-2 Parents Workshop and Conference

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih holds the workshop at the auditorium on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Parents are escorted to the auditorium and the principal starts the workshop with prayer.

The principal introduces the vice principal and every homeroom teachers so that parents may know and can meet them if the need arises. The principal also explains the programmes in Kindergarten, the lesson, scoring, rules and instructions in school.

Ms. Felisitas Kaban M.Psi. CGI explains about how to be a modern parent. This workshop tries informing the parents that the characters of the children are different from the old days. It also tells about the difference between modern parents and parents in the old days as well as the negligence done by parents. Parents are also encouraged to know their children well as there are a lot of characters of the children that they have to identify and adjust to. It is important for modern parents to stay calm from pressure because of the business. This workshop also explains the origin of children’s character, how to take good care of their children in this modern day.

We realize that we will experience this situation. However, we hope that we can handle this condition earlier, so that children can grow well and live according to God’s will. Parents must also know that every children have their own talents and cannot be discriminated. Their talents must be honed so that they can shine when it is time.

The workshop is also continued with the question and answer session by parents. The principal closes the workshop with prayer. We hope that with this activity, we can help parents in teaching and guiding their children. God bless.
