Primary 5 Parenting

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih holds the parenting meeting with Primary 5 students’ parents from September 17 to September 25, 2018. This activity is held at Sekolah Pelangi Kasih and starts with prayer.

The sex education parenting activity, with the theme Parents as the Children’s Guide. We hold this activity with the purpose so that parents can educate children in their knowledge and meaning of what sex is.

The most important matter of why parents need to explain about the sex education as early as possible so that children can know the correct information from parents, not from internet, not from other people or their friends. It is essential for parents to do that so children can avoid the sexual harassment, pornography addiction, being pedophiliac target and LGBT.

Parents are advised to open their arms to their children so children can tell and ask their parents directly about sex education, use the proper name for reproduction organ and teach children to take care of their reproduction organ because it is their private area and may not be touched by others.

If children get their parents’ attention and trust their parents, they will take good care of themselves and can grow into a good personality adult.

After the parenting material is given, every parent is given the chance to ask and tell about children. We also present homeroom teacher so parents can interact directly to know their children progress at school outside the academic aspect.

The activity is ended with question and answer session for parents and closed with prayer. We are eager to help parents in helping their children. We hope that we can help parents in educating and guiding their children to grow and live according to God’s will. God Bless.
