Advanced Secondary 1 Field Trip

Study activity cannot be done in school only. Sekolah Pelangi Kasih gives the chance for students to get the field trip. Students can study outside the classroom to know practically what they have learnt.

Advanced Secondary 1 Class gets the chance to learn the history of Indonesia at Museum Sumpah Pemuda and Museum Joang 45 on September 28, 2018. Advanced Secondary 1 students are guided by the museum guide to walk around the rooms in Museum Sumpah Pemuda. Students take picture and write the information given by the guide. After that, students are given free time to walk freely around the museum or interview the guide to get more information. After free time is over, students are asked to have lunch together then they go to Museum Joang 45.

In Museum Joang 45, students are divided into 2 groups. The first group will enter the exhibition area then go to auditorium room to watch the movie about Museum Joang 45. The second group is asked to watch the movie first before going to the exhibition room. In the exhibition room, the students take picture and write the information from every room in the exhibition area. Students can ask every question they do not understand to the guide so they can get the information clearly. After that, they watch the movie about the history of Museum Joang 45. Students take picture together outside Museum Joang 45 before they go home.

Students can feel fun by studying outside the class and know more about what they have learnt. It has become one of the good solutions to increase enthusiasm to study history. We hope that students can grow to be children living in God’s will and have high nationalism to their country Indonesia.
