Sex Education for Students

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih helds the workshop for Primary 5 and 6 students on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The workshop for boys and girls rooms are separated. The workshop is to teach the students about Bible vision about sex, what is the role of male and female in the beginning. This workshop is held so that students can keep the holiness and glorify God’s name in every aspects of their lives.

The workshop was presented by Mr. Andy Lala B. Lumban Gaol, S.T., M.A. and Ev. Mercy Matakupan. It starts with the Bible vision relating to human creation by God in the form of male and female. How the reproduction organ of male and female is created and their functions. The part of the body that can and cannot be touched by other people. How to keep the cleanliness of the vital organ in body. What the change that happens when boy and girl entering their puberty period. It also explains about the attraction on different gender and not the same gender. Students have to know what sex is and when it is done. How male and female should act in their lives so there will not be any change of role. How to handle violence or oppression. Every topics are explained in detail to the students.

We realize that there are many things that are inappropriate. We hope that students can understand and remember it so that they can grow well and live according to God’s will to glorify God.

The workshop is also continued with the question and answer session. Ms. Adel and Ms. Melati close the workshop with prayer. We hope that with this activity, we can teach and guide the students according to God’s will. God bless.
