Parents Workshop and Conference

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih helds the workshop for Advanced Secondary 1 and 2 parents on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The workshop opens with prayer and introduces the vision, mission and value of the school. After that introduce the programme, lesson, scoring, rule and instructions in school.

Mr. Tomi Arifin S.Kom., MBA continues the workshop about the role of parents in choosing for their children’s future. With this workshop, parents can understand how parents should act in responding to their children’s choice in this modern day. He also explains the common problem that parents face like the vision between parents with children, the lack of knowledge about the major that their children wish, parents feel they know the best for their children. He also gives some advices like knowing the ability and the weakness of the children, being a realistic thinker about the education major because it is a lifetime choice.

We realize that these are what the children need, the support of the parents are needed in choosing something in their lives. We hope that every parents can realize what their children need in their lives so that they may live according to God’s will and glorify God’s name in every steps and decisions that they take. Let the children achieve their dream. Parents should also realize that every children have different abilities and they cannot make their children like what they wish for.

This workshop ends in question and answer session for parents. It is closed with prayer. We hope that we can help parents in guiding their children with this workshop. God Bless.
