Earthquake Drill Simulation

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih is holding Earthquake Drill Simulation on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. The simulation is followed by kindergarten and primary students, teachers as well as staff members who join in the simulation.

The simulation begins with the first sound of alarm signaling the earthquake, the school communities follow the procedure of drop, cover and hold. Afterwards, the second alarm will ring and the people must exit properly with hands above their heads to cover their heads from falling objects. They are led to the meeting point. After the situation is safe, the school communities are led to return to the school building and continue with study activities as usual. The goal of the simulation is intended as preparation for students, teachers and staff members in facing the real incident.
