Parenting Playgroup and Nursery

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih held the parenting meeting with the parents of Playgroup and Nursery students on Monday, February 18, 2019. The activity was held at Sekolah Pelangi Kasih and brought by Mr. Adimasta S.Psi., M.Pd. presenting “Know Your Generation Alpha Child”.

The purpose was that parents could understand that children of the generation alpha were different from the past. They were smarter generation because of the advanced technology, understood foreign languages, but tended to be silent type because they often played with their gadget. They were less sociable and communicative because they found the comfort in the existing electronics.

It certainly became the concern for parents about the generation alpha children. They worried that children would be less competitive, more interested in gadget, critical, individualist and about their eyehealthiness because they kept looking at their gadget and others.

We realized that every one of us would experience this condition about our children and we hoped to anticipate it earlier so children could grow well and lived according to God’s Will.

The seminar was ended with the question answer session for parents and every parent was given the chance to share their experience about their children. The activity was closed with prayer. We hoped we could help teaching and educating children with this activity. God bless.
