The Basic Level Education and Training for Pelangi Kasih Pre-School and Kindergarten Teachers

On March 25-29 2019, the Basic Level Education and Training for Pelangi Kasih Pre-School and Kindergarten Teachers was organized by Pelangi Kasih Foundation in collaboration with PGRI-IGTKI DKI Jakarta and assisted by the professional speakers team from the Ministry of Education and Culture. This event was held at the Pelangi Kasih School auditorium from 7.00 a.m. to 17.00 p.m. and attended by 56 Pelangi Kasih teachers.

This Basic Training Program was officially opened by Kasatlak of Penjaringan Sub-District (Mr. Nurdin S.Pd.) and welcomed by the Head of Pelangi Kasih Foundation (Mr. Stephan Ghozali) and attended by Supervisor of TK Pelangi Kasih, Inspector of PAUD, Secretary of PGRI -IGTKI DKI Jakarta, Deputy Chairperson of North Jakarta PGRI – IGTKI Administration, Chairperson of PGRI Penjaringan Sub-District and Chairperson of IGTKI Penjaringan District.

In this event, Mr. Stephan Ghozali said that this activity is aimed to improve the teachers’ professionalism in caring and guiding the children of Pelangi Kasih Pre-School and Kindergarten according to their age and development.

While Mr. Nurdin in his direction, said that all human beings want to be succeed but success does not come easily for it takes some strategies to be achieved with it. And in that order, we need to work really good with our own willingness and commitment, never quit learning and keep gaining knowledge which enable us to be a professional in this field.

But the reality shows that there are still so many PAUD organizers that unable to manage the learning activities as they are expected to. The teachers’ lack of knowledge about the precise learning management and the limited opportunity to join the training are some of the obstacles that occur in this field.

To overcome this issue, the Education and Training for PAUD teachers is needed to enable the teachers in being professionals in their field.

Mr. Nurdin thanked Pelangi Kasih Foundation for facilitating the teachers with this Basic Level of Education and Training so the teachers may have the equivalent educational qualification with PAUD bachelor’s degree.

He also thanked the committee for holding up this event very well. And finally Mr. Nurdin advised all of participants to participate seriously because the knowledge that the teachers will gain from this event can be very useful for the Pre-School and Kindergarten where the participants are serving.

He is thankful for the assistance of PGRI-IGTKI DKI that enables this event to be well-accomplished. He also wishes all of the Pre-School and Kindergarten teachers to keep being enthusiastic in learning through this event and keep all the good work in educating the children who are trusted to all the teachers by God’s love and grace.
