School Orientation  Activity

Sekolah Pelangi Kasih held the School Orientation  Activity for the Secondary Student from July 12, 2018 to July 14, 2018. The activity was held at Sekolah Pelangi Kasih in the school auditorium. It began with the morning devotion by Secondary 3 students to give the praise to God. After that delivered the God’s word, with the theme “Self Discipline” to teach students about discipline according to God’s will. The teachers, who were going to teach in each subjects, were also introduced. The heads were given the chance to deliver the welcoming speech for students. The vice principal for curriculum matter, explained the curriculum and the subjects that students were going to learn. The vice principal for student matter, gave the information about the school rules. After that, The principal for OSIS matter, introduced the OSIS of Pelangi Kasih with the presence of OSIS caretakers in every fields to explain their activities. This activity was also aided by the Boys Brigade in the second and the third day.

The second day of this activity started with the activity announcement for the students. The students took off to Eco-Park to do the activity and have lunch together there. The students ended the activity by returning to school and spent the night there. There was a game at night from 20.30-22.30. Afterwards, the students were asked to rest to continue with tomorrow activities.

The third day started by having the sports and breakfast together in the morning, then they prepared themselves for morning devotion. At the end of the activity, students were asked to pack their stuff. This activity was closed by having the ceremony together. The purpose of this activity was to prepare students well in following the education.
