<\/p>\nSince the academic year 2017 to 2018, Pelangi Kasih Kindergarten involves actively in the Gugus Padi activity formed by the Kindergarten Supervisor of Penjaringan District and PAUDNI Inspector. Pelangi Kasih Kindergarten holds the seminar \u201cHandling Children Tantrum\u201d at Sekolah Pelangi Kasih.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This training has the purpose to increase the performance the education trainer, educator and educator workforce in running the PAUD programme professionally, effectively and efficiently. The group is consisted of several schools like Tzu Chi Kindergarten as the main school and the participating schools are Pelangi Kasih Kindergarten, TKK 10 Penabur, Modern Montessori Kindergarten, SPS Bawal Terpadu and SPS Bawal Bahari. This activity is effectively done once in a month and consists of training which can support the school progress.<\/p>\n

It is held at Sekolah Pelangi Kasih on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with the seminar about how to handle the children\u2019s tantrum, to anticipate and many other things.<\/p>\n

We often face children while they are in tantrum. It usually happens on the children from the age 18 months to 4 years. Tantrum is the period when children have the negative emotion (angry, sad and frustrated) feelings like crying, shouting, moving the body violently, throwing things, dropping themselves to the floor, even hitting themselves to the wall (head\/hand\/feet) to the floor or wall.<\/p>\n

We must say something with right tone without emotion so children will not imitate because they have the limit in saying their wish or mind. When we are handling the children, we must control our emotion well. There are tantrums which must be ignored and paid attention to. For example, we may ignore children\u2019s tantrum for getting attention, because they will do it again for getting attention.<\/p>\n

We must learn how to handle children\u2019s tantrum by knowing the cause, stopping their aggressive attitude, taking them to private place, ignoring children tantrum, teaching children to say their emotion with words, asking children about their problems. We can do this to handle the children\u2019s tantrum and children can slowly learn to understand the effect of their behavior until they grow older later.<\/p>\n

We realize that every one of us will this experience to our children and we hope to treat it earlier so children can grow well and live according to God\u2019s will.
